rainbow dash vessel of torment
Saturday, January 24th, 2026 11:41 pma friend is informing me that her youtube recommendations are filled with Rainbow Dash being subjected to "a broad swathe of medical and psychological horror." anyone know what's up with that. why is this happening to her. is this what "whump" means or was i misinformed about that particular bit of fandom lingo.

Bronies have some damn good production values, and when they can't make a fully animated high-quality video, I'm likely to see animatics ala Warriors fandom. The difference between a brony-animated video and Spiderman Elsa Pregnant is like night and day in that regard.

I'm pretty sure Bronies don't use the word "whump" because they're of different subcultural roots from the groups that do, but they do have fetish and kink content. And really, aren't the differences between "whump" and "torture porn" kind of a matter of nuance and connotation more than of being totally discrete things?
