TTRPG sales data

is impossible to find, the best we have is 1) Crowdfunding campaigns that tell you how many people backed at what levels and 2) Drivethrurpg dividing products into sales bands. I have reliable information that the current #4 Top Seller in Physical Games on Itch.io is selling at around 2000 copies but that's the best I have for that.
now I don't care about this for like... competitive reasons, I don't cheer on movies for passing box office goals or anything like that, but ttrpgs are like a dozen distinct hobbies all bumping into each other's territories and getting surprised when they find out that someone else plays differently. If the data existed it could at least like... provide some indication of the shape things are from another perspective instead of the shape they look from where i am. I know i can't see the whole elephant but a satellite image would still be nice
