Curation is work!!!

At the moment I'm thinking about expanding my TTRPG horizons, largely as a reaction to Cohost shutting down one vector of recs and discussion, and kinda also as a "long shadow" effect from Twitter becoming significantly less... good. that about sums it up. This is also doubling as reasearch for my own site, I want to include links to cool people and cool ideas, so this "stuck" feeling has an antidote of some kind, for people who find my site
I am experiencing that 1) Finding cool stuff is work and 2) showing off cool stuff to people is also work. who could have foreseen this
(Signing up for a couple newsletters that other people have already done the work of curating has been a good step for me here I think)
anyway here's a History of TTRPGs post index and here's a second link for when that one is incomplete
Yes ...

Yeah, that sucks. Dreamwidth is good for gaming though.
An Active Gaming Community created July 5th, 2013.
Indie games discussion, recs, and squee.
I find many of mine on Kickstarter, where the game section is huge.

Yay!

LOL yes.
There are some shortcuts. Boardgamegeek typically has exhaustive references for each game including photos and playthrough videos. Kickstarter fundraisers also tend toward useful detail. If you want to review a game, you'll need to write more, but if you just want to tip someone to a cool thing, then a link to either of those will do.
